I am involved with academic activities of the department including teaching of undergraduates, post graduates and postdoctoral students, research activities and publications. We have daily routine elective operative cases and emergency operative duties once weekly as an on-call consultant on rotation basis. We have a designated Trauma Centre where we are posted as an on Call neurosurgeon once weekly. I am involved in administrative duties of the department organizing conferences, workshops, seminars. We have made a doctor’s help group for helping poor and needy patients.

During this tenure I was appointed as a Neurosurgery Resident and was involved in regular Clinical work in the wards. There was active exposure to all elective and emergency, minor and major neurosurgical procedures in the Operation Theatres including neurotrauma, neurooncology, skullbase surgery, epilepsy surgery, spine surgery, functional neurosurgery, neurovascular procedure, endoscopic craniospinal procedures, stereotactic procedures with hands on experience in different types of neurointerventional procedure including angiographies, coiling and embolization

procedures. I was involved in teaching of Undergraduates and Post Graduates medical students, seminars, clinical presentation and journal club presentation. I attended various national and international conferences during this tenure and organized conferences at own institute. I was also involved with administrative duties of the Department.
